The Oakley Court Hotel is a magnificent, gothic building with beautiful grounds and frontage on the River Thames.

It is situated halfway between Maidenhead and Windsor on the A308 at Water Oakley. The best way to get there is to take the M4 to junction 8/9, take the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto the A308(M), then take the third exit (Windsor Road) which is the A308 signposted for Windsor, go for about 2 miles, you will pass a black and white sign for Bray Film Studios, then the next left turn is the hotel - you will see the big gates.

If you get lost or need to phone them, their number is 01753 609988. This is also the number to call if you want a room for the night, but don't let them quote you any more than £110 (discounted rate for wedding guests) - if you get any hassle let me know and I will give them a bollocking.

THE WEDDING LIST

We have decided to open a Celebration Account with Selfridges, into which we invite guests to pledge money. Selfridges will add a further amount of money to all pledges made. We realise that some will find this method a bit impersonal, but we have chosen it since the majority of items on our wedding list are large and expensive and we couldn't ask any one person to cover such a cost.
